Turtle Mat holds an exciting and wonderful position in the market for being the ultimate mat in protecting floors against dirt, dust and moisture. This superb product is not only the best friend to anyone who has a four-legged companion but with a plethora of designs to choose from; they are a stylish choice too. What was the objective?

1.  Get the Turtle Mat brand and product range in front of a new and relevant audience.

2. Drive incremental sales over and above Turtle Mat’s existing digital mix.

3. Maintain an efficient CPA.

What was the challenge?

Turtle Mat had good search presence but with a captive audience showing high purchasing intent during and post-pandemic, Turtle Mat looked to us (Infinity Nation) to increase customer acquisition beyond the unprecedented highs of 2020. 

The Objective was to reach new users in a space where their audience were spending time and generate sales at an efficient CPA. 

Turtle Mat operate strict and final budgets, so CPA needed to be managed within the target range.  

Our Process

Our audience-first approach, taking cues from the client’s data intelligence solution allowed us to apply insights from Google Ads and the website to Facebook. 

This allowed us to focus our activity at niches within a huge audience pool and drive engagement with the right customer segments. 

The social presence ensured that Turtle Mat’s brand visibility was increased during a key period, while competitors focused on the search marketplace. 

Learnings from the last 12 months, were combined with an ‘s-curve’ modelling approach – to find and acquire customers using generic search and prospecting strategies (social), sometimes at a slightly increased CPA, but blended with a smart dynamic retargeting strategy we were able to ensure that the blended CPA came in within target range, whilst increasing volume.
