Gresham House SEO Migration Case Study

The Project

Infinity Nation and the SEO delivery team created a plan of action and a project plan. Meetings were co-ordinated between the various key stakeholders. During this process the team carried out on-page audits, technical audits, identifying URL problems, site mapping issues and highlighting key user experience changes, and domain mapping. Infinity Nation project managed the SEO migration liaising with the developer on behalf of the client to ensure everything possible was completed and met the tight deadlines required.

Post Launch

As part of our post launch process we carried out periodic site tests and audits for an agreed period after the website launch. This enabled the business to gain a full understanding of how they are performing and to highlight any performance or technical issues that would not necessarily be picked up by the developer. If you are interested in SEO migration support, we would recommend that you get in touch and allow us to share with you our experience and knowledge. We take great care in providing you with a professional consultative service, ensuring that your website launch is a success.

What was the objective?

1. To minimise organic performance issues during migration.

2. Successfully map current site domains and page content.

3. Optimise and improve organic performance after launch.

What was the challenge?

Our client had a number of sub-domains connected to the existing site along with various post pages. They were building a new website and migrating their existing content and adding new content. We carried out a successful mapping exercise to ensure the developer didn't impact performance when the site launched.

Our Process

We worked alongside the assigned developer and 3rd party through the whole project. We provided them with technical recommendations for them to implement as the website progressed. Where we carried out numerous technical test both on site and offsite as the project progressed
